A graduate of York University's Professional and Creative Writing programs, Eilish currently resides in London, Ontario. When she isn't tearing through her reading list, you can find her hiking in the woods or singing musical theatre songs off-tune in her living room.

Eilish is mainly drawn to fiction books (especially those with fantasy and magical realism elements) as well as memoirs, short story collections, and classic literature, but she is always open to trying new genres. Some of her favourite authors include Toni Morrison, Franz Kafka, Ursula K. Le Guin, Shirley Jackson, Octavia E. Butler, and Neil Gaiman.
